The Great Mother March Podcast Interview - All You Need to Know
A Call I Couldn’t Ignore
Last November, sitting on my front porch with a mug of maté, I heard a sentence arrive in my mind as clearly as a bell:
“Women are marching from Asheville to the U.S. Capitol.”
I literally lost my breath. Tears came. And then the knowing followed: Everything in my life has prepared me for this.
I’ve been guided by intuition my entire career—from founding the Creative Fitness Center in the ‘90s to training 600+ Creative Frequency Coaches worldwide. My work has always orbited one golden thread: illuminating and empowering the Feminine—the creative, compassionate, visionary energy alive in all of us, regardless of gender.
The Great Mother March is that calling, made visible.
What the Great Mother March Is (and Isn’t)
This is not a protest.
It’s a living, breathing, co-creative art installation—a month-long, boots-on-the-ground celebration of the Great Mother: wise, fierce, unconditionally loving Feminine energy that brings communities into reciprocity, creativity, listening, and joy.
Over 32 days, we’ll travel from Asheville, NC to Washington, D.C., weaving through small towns and creative hubs, making art, hosting wisdom circles, dancing, practicing yoga, and collaborating with local organizations. We’re not coming to take—we’re coming to give: murals, music, movement, market love, and a giant reminder that we have far more in common than we have apart.
Key vibes: celebration, creativity, reciprocity, community care, artivism, and radical inclusion.
The Route & Rhythm
Opening Festival (Asheville) — March 21 (Spring Equinox): outdoor music, art, speakers, and circle-building.
Step-off — March 22 (Asheville → Boone, NC) via scenic smaller roads.
Through Virginia — Floyd (Friday night old-time music at the General Store), Lynchburg, Waynesboro, Charlottesville (our one full stopover day, in partnership with IX Art Park & local creatives).
Northern Virginia — including Manassas with community arts partners.
Arrival in D.C. — Earth Day (April 22): celebratory entry and…yes…a flash-mob (start practicing 💃).
The mileage is strikingly close to the Camino de Santiago—think of this as a stateside empowerment pilgrimage.
How to participate (there’s a way for everyone)
1) Walk with us—your way
Form a Circle of 8–12 people (any gender identity welcome).
Secure a support vehicle (spouse, grandma, friend, RV, van—your rolling HQ).
Walk part of a day, a long weekend, a full week—or go all in for all 32 days.
We’re coordinating ~100 camping spots per town, prioritized for full-route marchers who aren’t hoteling.
Express what you’re for. Costumes, banners, artworks, evening offerings—share your vision of the world you want your children and grandchildren to inherit.
2) Be a behind-the-scenes legend
Can’t walk? We need you.
Volunteer remotely: hotel spreadsheets, route logistics, media outreach, DM coordination, sponsor research.
Energy workers & healers: hold weekly circles; send Reiki to marchers.
Medical support: EMTs, nurses, PTs—advice, on-call support, or join a day.
Host a virtual event (our online series begins 6 months out): breathwork, dance, knitting, grant-writing, creative circles—teach what you love.
3) Fuel the movement

Why Now
We are living through a time of deep polarization. The Great Mother March is a ground-up response—modeling how communities thrive: by listening deeply, making art, sharing food, and practicing reciprocity. It’s not about flipping the tables; it’s about balancing the Feminine and Masculine within each of us—vision and execution, compassion and clarity, dreaming and doing.
This is how we be the change (thanks, Gandhi) rather than waiting for a policy memo to fix what only people can.
